Trillion road connecting Mau Son tourist area
Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 4B from the beginning of Lang Son city to the junction area at the foot of Mau Son mountain with a length of more than 13 km with an investment of more than 1,200 billion VND. Lang Son Province Construction Investment Project Management Board is the Investor.
The project started in April 2021, up to now, some sections through Lang Son city, Cao Loc district and Loc Binh district are being paved with crushed stone and asphalt carpet on the road surface.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Hoang Manh Cuong - Vice Chairman of Cao Loc District People's Committee said that recently, the district has completed the site clearance work for the main route of the project. People's recommendations and feedback related to land acquisition for the project have basically been resolved.
According to the Construction Investment Project Management Board of Lang Son province (representative of the project investor), contractors concentrate all their efforts to organize construction and installation. Strive to basically complete the project in September 2024.
Enhance inter-regional connectivity
At the end of July 2024, the project to upgrade and expand road 342 from Dinh Lap district (Lang Son) connecting to Ba Che district (Quang Ninh) was completed. The project has a total investment capital of 800 billion VND.
The route has a length of 23 km and is designed according to grade III mountainous standards, 2 lanes, 9m wide, with widening and lowering slopes, cutting corners based on the old alignment.
These are large-scale projects, with a very important strategic role, effectively serving the inter-regional connection of Lang Son - Quang Ninh, creating motivation for socio-economic development.
Connecting to Lang Son's largest industrial park
The road project from Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway to VSIP Industrial Park through Ho Son commune (Huu Lung, Lang Son) has a total investment of nearly 200 billion VND.
After 2 years of construction, the project has gradually appeared, the branch roads connecting the 4.5 km long expressway are now basically completed.
By the end of August 2024, the main construction items of the project were basically completed, the road surface was covered with asphalt concrete. Slope areas, street lighting systems, railings... are in the completion stage.
Informing reporters, Ms. Duong Thi Hanh - Vice Chairman of Huu Lung district said that the highway intersection project connecting to Huu Lung Industrial Park (VSIP) is one of the key local projects, expected to be completed. in 2025.
When put into use, it will increase inter-provincial traffic connectivity, contributing to promoting trade with neighboring localities, provinces and cities, thereby developing local socio-economic development and improving people's lives. .
In 2024, the province will transition and start 12 new large transport infrastructure investment projects with a total length of 230 km, with an implementation cost of over 16,000 billion VND.
Among them, some large projects such as Huu Nghi - Chi Lang Border Gate Expressway (more than 43 km long), total investment of more than 11,000 billion VND; Upgrading National Highway 4B (more than 62 km long) with a total investment of 2,300 billion VND.
