At noon on April 23, a serious fire broke out at a house in a business combination in area 7 (Nhon Phu ward, Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province).
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Binh Dinh Province Police quickly mobilized many fire trucks and nearly 100 officers and soldiers to the scene to carry out fire fighting work. Binh Dinh Petroleum Company also sent 2 more fire trucks to support.

According to the authorities, the house contained some solutions used to paint PU for wooden furniture and many flammable materials, causing the fire to spread rapidly and spread to neighboring areas.
When approaching the scene, the fire fighting force recorded the entire house covered in fire, the fire spread to some neighboring areas, with a column of black smoke rising tens of meters high.
People living near the fire area said they heard many explosions and smelled the stench of chemicals.

Because the fire area was near many high-rise buildings, the authorities promptly deployed measures to isolate the fire, spray water to cool it down and prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings.
Until about 12:45 am on the same day, the fire was basically controlled. The case does not cause human damage. However, the house and the solvent area were completely burned down, the corrugated iron roof collapsed, the fence was cracked.
The authorities determined that the fire occurred at the house of Mr. Phan Thanh Hien (43 years old, residing in area 7, Nhon Phu ward) in a house with industrial chemicals such as fragrance gasoline, vecni, PU. The total area of the fire was about 80m2, with damage of nearly 20 million VND.
The cause of the fire is currently being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
