The project to renovate and upgrade the traffic route connecting National Highway 32 with National Highway 70B of Phu Tho province to Hoa Binh province has a total investment of more than 164 billion VND. Although the project is under construction in Thanh Son district, the Thanh Thuy District People's Committee is the investor.
This project was started in mid-2021, the entire route is 8.04km long, passing through Luong Nha and Tinh Nhue communes of Thanh Son district, connecting to National Highway 70B to Hoa Binh province (from this location to Hoa Binh province is only about 1.7km).
This route is completely newly built, helping to reduce the load on provincial road 317 along the Da River; shorten travel time and distance, increase connectivity between Thanh Thuy district, Thanh Son district of Phu Tho province with Hoa Binh city and vice versa... contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of localities.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in late March, the entire route has almost completed the items, people can now comfortably travel on the road. In particular, it is very timely to be able to travel across the new Ngoi Lat bridge at this time, when Luong Nha bridge (connecting Tu Vu commune, Thanh Thuy district with Luong Nha commune, Thanh Son district) has been degraded, limiting the load for many months now.
Mr. Nguyen Van Vien - a resident of Sinh hamlet, Tinh Nhue commune, Thanh Son district - shared: "Since the new road was built, people in the commune travel much easier than before. For example, before, to go to Thanh Thuy district or Hoa Binh province, we had to go from a village road with many alleys, to Provincial Road 317 on the riverbank, which is a concrete road that is both bad and far away, but now we just need to get out of the gate, onto a new road and go straight".
This is a project with 2 houses located mainly in the middle of the road, the owner did not agree to receive compensation and clearance to allocate land to the project that Lao Dong Newspaper reported from the end of 2024. After that, the problem with these 2 houses was resolved, the project was then accelerated, and almost the entire route has been paved with asphalt.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh - Director of the Thanh Thuy District Investment and Construction Project Management Board (representative of the project investor) - said that the project route of the Road Renovation and Upgrade project connecting National Highway 32 with National Highway 70B of Phu Tho province to Hoa Binh province is still unable to fully open the route due to land clearance problems.
"On the route, there are still 2 households in Luong Nha commune that are still stuck in site clearance, with a total length of about 120m (each household 60m). These 2 households are waiting to be allocated resettlement land, after completing the project, they can continue to complete the construction (2 sections have been paved with crushed stone)" - Mr. Thanh shared.
