Thousands of people and tourists have been present in the central area of Ho Chi Minh City such as Bach Dang Ben Park, Saigon River River Park, Thu Thiem Tunneling Area ... to admire the colorful high -level fireworks screen, within the framework of the live television bridge program "Roasting forever" - a special event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the unification of the country (30.4.1975 - 30.4.2025).
According to Lao Dong, at around 6pm, the riverside area was packed with people. Everyone eagerly waited for the moment the first clusters of fireworks lit up in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City.
At 9:50 p.m., the high-altitude fireworks display began, many people cheered, cheered, used their phones to record the magnificent images of the fireworks display and took the opportunity to take photos with their relatives.
Sharing her feelings after enjoying the fireworks display on this special occasion, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (Binh Thanh District) could not hide her pride.
"Living in a joyful and exciting atmosphere these days is truly indescribable happiness. Today, witnessing such brilliant fireworks displays with my own eyes, I feel extremely proud and moved," said Ms. Huong.
Present at the Thu Thiem tunnel roof area since 6:30 p.m., Mr. Duong Chi Bao (residing in Go Vap) expressed: "Yesterday, because I was busy with work, I could not go see the fireworks display, so today I had to go early. It is not a waste to wait here early to see the fireworks display today with your own eyes".
The event is not only an opportunity for people to review the glorious history but also to add confidence, arouse patriotism, and the desire to build an increasingly rich and developed country.
In addition to the brilliant fireworks display, the event also has many unique art performances, recreating the heroic 50-year journey, from the Spring of Victory in 1975 to a dynamic, creative and integrated Ho Chi Minh City today.
According to the record, the organization work was ensured safety and thoughtfulness; functional forces were on duty to direct traffic, supporting people to move smoothly throughout the program.
