On March 13, a working group led by Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee - visited and encouraged households affected by the fire on the evening of March 12 in Thong Nhat Hamlet, Ninh Thanh Loi A Commune, Hong Dan District.
The delegation also included Mr. Tran Van Ut - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Lieu province; Mr. Ngo Vu Thang - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province and leaders of Hong Dan district and Ninh Thanh Loi A commune.
During the visit, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet and members of the delegation encouraged and shared the difficulties with households affected by the fire. Mr. Viet also suggested that the leaders of Ninh Thanh Loi A commune continue to mobilize resources and urgently support households to rebuild new houses, helping households soon stabilize their lives.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Lieu province presented support of 5 million VND to each household whose house was completely burned down; Hong Dan district supported each household with 2 million VND; Ninh Thanh Loi A commune supported each household with 1 million VND.
Previously, the People's Committee of Ninh Thanh Loi A commune quickly mobilized support for rice, noodles, necessities and essential items for households affected by the fire, and arranged temporary accommodation for households while waiting for their houses to be rebuilt.
Previously, at around 9:00 p.m. on March 12, in Thong Nhat Hamlet, Ninh Thanh Loi A Commune, Hong Dan District, Bac Lieu Province, a series of house fires occurred in 4 households (of which 2 were completely burned and 2 were partially burned). Initial damage was estimated at about 300 million VND. The incident did not cause any human casualties. The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit.
