The rehearsal of the parade and parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification took place at 7:00 a.m. on April 27. Before that, many people took a bus to travel hundreds of kilometers to Ho Chi Minh City to wait to watch the parade.


In Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1), Ms. Le Thi Thoa and her daughter from Gia Lai came to Ho Chi Minh City, then chose Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1) to watch the fireworks on the night of April 26 and stopped here to wait until morning to watch the rehearsal.
"In an event like this, there is no difficulty that can stop us. Although I had to stay up all night, only thinking about the morning when I saw the people holding red flags with yellow stars welcoming the parade and parade, and witnessing the live-fire, I felt extremely happy" - Ms. Thoa shared.

To participate in the rehearsal, Ms. Ut Truyen and her group of friends took a bus from Kien Giang to Ho Chi Minh City from 6pm on April 26. Ms. Ut Truyen shared: "We arrived at midnight so we waited all night to watch the rehearsal in the morning. Although the waiting time is quite long, you and I do not feel tired. The atmosphere here is very happy, everyone is excited to chat" - Ms. Truyen excitedly said.

By 5am, the Bach Dang wharf area was packed with people, with no empty seats. Although the number of people flocking to the center of Ho Chi Minh City was increasing in the early morning, there was no jostling, and security forces also tightened to ensure maximum safety.
