Expanding 13 km of road and building bridge in Dong Nai connecting the Central Highlands provinces to the airport

Dong Nai - Project to upgrade and expand DT 753 and build Ma Da bridge connecting to Long Thanh airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai port.

On December 7, the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment reported to review and resolve difficulties and problems in compensation, support and resettlement of projects under the 2025 public investment plan in Dong Nai province.

Accordingly, for the project to Upgrade and Expand DT 753 and build Ma Da bridge connecting with Long Thanh international airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai port, this unit requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to pay attention and direct the Land Fund Development Center of Dong Xoai branch and Dong Phu branch to proactively coordinate continuously with related units to speed up the progress of site clearance.

The Land Registration Office of Dong Xoai branch and Dong Phu branch, Binh Phuoc Ward People's Committee, People's Committees of Dong Tam and Tan Loi communes are interested in closely coordinating procedures in site clearance so that the project can be completed soon as well as ensure the disbursement of assigned capital.

Dong Nai Power Company (formerly Binh Phuoc Power Company) was proposed to soon organize the relocation of the power line system out of the construction area, creating conditions to speed up the project implementation progress.

The project to upgrade and expand DT 753 and build Ma Da bridge connecting Long Thanh airport (Dong Nai) and Cai Mep - Thi Vai port (now Ho Chi Minh City) was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment and construction in 2023 with a total investment of 480 billion VND.

The project is 13km long, passing through Dong Tam, Tan Loi communes and Binh Phuoc ward, Dong Nai province.

For compensation and site clearance for the project, the Land Fund Development Center, Dong Xoai branch and Dong Phu branch were assigned to carry out.

Regarding construction and installation work, the project has 4 construction packages under construction

On August 19, 2025, the Ma Da bridge construction investment project was broken ground. The Ma Da bridge project has a starting point connecting to DT 753 route (Tan Loi commune, Dong Nai province).

The end point of the project is on the trail in Dong Nai Nature - Cultural Reserve (Tri An commune, Dong Nai province).

The project has a total project length of 583m, the cross-section of the bridge in phase 1 has 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for non-motor vehicles, the bridge length is more than 210m, the design speed is 80km/h.

The approach roads at both ends of the bridge are also built with a road width of 4 lanes for motor vehicles, 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles on both sides, a median strip, and a sidewalk on both sides of the road.

This is a group C project, a level III project invested by the budget of Dong Nai province with a total investment of more than 133 billion VND.

The project was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the Dong Nai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board as the investor.

The project has a land area to be reclaimed of about 1.83 hectares in Tri An and Tan Loi communes, Dong Nai province.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Ho Van Ha - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said: The Ma Da bridge construction investment project is an important connecting project of the province, while contributing to the completion of the transport infrastructure of Dong Nai province.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Ma Da Bridge Project by Dong Nai province aims to create a connecting route from Binh Phuoc (formerly) along DT 753, through Ma Da Bridge to the center of Dong Nai province, then follow DT 761 and DT 767, connecting to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4.

This is also the route connecting the Central Highlands provinces to Long Thanh airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port, accelerating the development of inter-provincial logistics infrastructure, industrial parks... promoting the socio-economic development of localities.
