According to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper on the morning of June 13, heavy rain continued to fall in Dong Hoi City and many neighboring areas. During the night of June 12, floods on rivers in Quang Binh rose rapidly, especially the Kien Giang River flowing through Le Thuy district.
In An Thuy commune (Le Thuy district), many roads were flooded 20-30cm deep, water began to overflow into the alleys of the neighborhood. The rain has not shown any signs of abating, people have to continuously monitor weather reports to proactively respond.

Mr. Mau Tinh (residing in An Thuy commune) said this was a rather unusual situation, most roads and alleys were flooded. In June, there are few floods like this, so people are very worried.
On the same morning, the People's Committee of Truong Son commune (Quang Ninh district) said that at km115+700 of Ho Chi Minh Road West branch this morning, a landslide occurred, causing traffic congestion on this section.

The strongest wind near the storm center is level 10 (89 - 102 km/h), gusting to level 13. The storm is moving northwest at a speed of about 10 km/h.

It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the storm will move north-northwest then turn north-northeast at a speed of about 10 km/h. At 4:00 a.m. on June 14, the center of the storm was at about 20.2 degrees north latitude; 109.1 degrees east longitude, in the sea east of the northern Gulf of Tonkin. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 9 - 10, gusting to level 13.
The storm danger zone in the next 24 hours will be from north of latitude 16 degrees north; east of longitude 106.5 degrees east to 111 degrees east. The natural disaster risk level is level 3 in the northwest of the northern East Sea, the offshore waters from Quang Tri to Quang Nam, the waters of the Gulf of Tonkin.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, the storm will continue to move north-northeast at a speed of about 15 km/h and gradually weaken into a tropical depression.
