In Ky Long ward, heavy rain and slow drainage caused local flooding on some roads in residential areas. The ward police have placed flood warning signs to prevent vehicles from entering deep, dangerous flooded areas.


From June 12 to the morning of June 13, due to the impact of storm No. 1, Ha Tinh area will have moderate rain, heavy rain, some places have very heavy rain with common rainfall of 57 - 143 mm. In Ky Anh district and Ky Anh town alone, the measured rainfall was 194 mm and 239.6 mm respectively.
Before the forecast of heavy rain, Ho Ho Hydropower Plant regulated the water flow through the spillway from 5:00 p.m. on June 12 with a flow rate of 50 m3/s, and from the morning of the 13th, the water flow was regulated to 10 m3/s.
Currently, the staff of this Hydropower Plant continues to monitor and closely follow the weather developments to proactively regulate water appropriately, ensuring the safety of the project and downstream areas.
Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited is regulating the water flow through Tau Voi Lake at 10 m3/s, Moc Huong Lake at 38.76 m3/s, Cat Lake at 33.01 m3/s, Khe Xai Lake at 5 m3/s, Kim Son Lake at 5 m3/s, Han Da Lake at 8 m3/s...

Some reservoirs with small capacity and free overflow have been operating such as: Ma Leng lake, Dap Hoi lake, Nha Lao lake, Khe Dai lake, Dap Ho lake, Con Troi lake...
Regarding floods, on the evening of June 12, a storm and tornado swept through Trung Tien village, Cam Trung commune, Cam Xuyen district (Ha Tinh), causing 23 houses to have their roofs blown off, of which 1 house completely collapsed. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhon - Vice Chairman of Cam Trung Commune People's Committee - said that immediately after the incident, the local government mobilized forces to support people in cleaning up furniture, repairing and re-roofing houses damaged by the tornado.
