Quang Tri - Heavy rain occurred and caused flooding on many inner-city streets in Dong Ha City. The rain is forecast to continue and cause further flooding.

On the morning of November 4, Vinasarcom of Quang Tri province confirmed that in the past 24 hours (from 8:00 a.m. on November 3 to 8:00 a.m. on November 4), the plains of Quang Tri province had heavy to very heavy rain with common rainfall of 80-200mm, higher in some places such as Vinh Kim (Vinh Linh district) 240.4mm; Hai An (Trieu Phong) 306.2mm.

In Dong Ha City, moderate to heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 50-100 mm caused flooding on many inner-city streets.

According to Lao Dong Newspaper, the intersection between Hung Vuong and Le The Hieu was flooded from 20cm to 40cm, causing traffic congestion. The location is high and has rarely been flooded. According to local residents, because there is a construction project on Le The Hieu Street, the water cannot drain into the sewers in time.

In addition to the above location, Dang Dung, Thanh Tinh, Nguyen Hue, Ton That Thuyet streets... in wards in Dong Ha city are all flooded.

The Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Quang Tri province informed that heavy rain will continue to occur in Dong Ha city in the coming hours and will cause flooding in low-lying areas in Ward 1 (Ward 5, Phan Van Tri Street); Ward 2 (Ward 2, Thanh Tinh Street, Ward 4, Ward 11); Dong Le Ward (Ward 3, Dien Phu Street).
