16-year-old male student drives motorbike into a prohibited road, vehicle owner fined 14 million VND

    Quang Tri - A male student underage driving a motorbike deliberately entered a prohibited road to serve a bicycle race, causing the owner to be heavily fined.

    On May 18, while ensuring traffic safety for the 5th Dong Ha City Cycling Race in 2025, the Traffic Police of Quang Tri Province Police discovered a violation.

    Accordingly, at around 8:30 a.m., C.T.X.H (born in 2009, residing in Trieu Giang commune, Trieu Phong district) was driving a motorbike with license plate 74H2-XXXX, carrying the person sitting behind, T.D.N, and arbitrarily driving onto Hung Vuong street - a place that was blocked to serve the bicycle race.

    Although the route was banned and the traffic police were on duty to regulate the route, C.T.X.H still did not comply with the authorities' order to stop the vehicle.

    Immediately afterwards, officers of the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police organized a checkpoint, requesting the vehicle to stop for handling. Through verification, the authorities determined that C.T.X.H was not old enough to drive a motorbike according to the law.

    For the act of handing over the vehicle to an unqualified person for driving and related violations, the vehicle owner was administratively fined a total of 14 million VND.
