On the afternoon of December 2, the leader of Bao Lam 2 commune (Lam Dong) said that a young man had just died in a lake. The authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause.
Earlier, at around 11am the same day, people discovered a body floating on a self-dug coffee irrigation lake in An Hoa village (Bao Lam 2 commune) and immediately reported it to the authorities. Upon receiving the information, the Commune Police and other forces quickly arrived, isolated the scene and brought the body to shore.
The victim was identified as N.V.M.T (18 years old, residing in village 1, Bao Lam commune 2). Relatives said that on November 29, Mr. Thang left home with a fishing rod and some items to fish. At noon on December 2, the family received news that he had died.
The coffee watering hole where the body was found was hidden in a coffee plantation, far from residential areas and with few people passing by. After completing the procedures, the victim's body was handed over to his family for funeral arrangements.
The cause of victim N.V.M.T's death is currently being investigated and verified by the authorities.
