The project to build and upgrade the An Duong District Martyrs Memorial was upgraded and expanded on an area of 3.4 hectares, with a total investment of 21,176 billion VND.
The project is invested with the main items including: Construction of the Martyrs Memorial, shaped from 16 blocks, inspired by a pair of arms arranged in a circle symbolizing the heroic martyrs of 16 communes and towns of An Duong district (before the arrangement of district and ward administrative units). The blocks of hands embrace and protect the memorial pillar, expressing gratitude and remembrance of the merits of today's generations towards the heroic martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the cause of building and protecting the country, building the homeland of An Duong.
Besides, there are the Memorial Stele House with the names of heroic martyrs; resting huts, green tree system, sound system, lighting system and other auxiliary works in the overall An Duong Park...
The project was completed after more than 4 months of construction, creating an urban architectural space. This is also a cultural architectural work symbolizing the 95th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and welcoming the Spring of At Ty 2025.
On the same day, January 24, An Duong District Youth Union coordinated with Le Loi Ward People's Committee to organize the inauguration of the "Community Playground" project. This is a highly publicized project, attracting a large number of Youth Union members, youth and people to participate. The project targets many beneficiaries including people and youth in Le Loi Ward.
