The rare incident occurred on the afternoon of December 30 in Hong Liem commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province. At that time, Mr. D.T.P (born in 1968, residing in Dong Nai province) was driving a truck carrying acacia trees.
When the car reached a low power line, almost touching the truck bed, Mr. P stopped the car and climbed onto the hood to lift the power line so the truck could pass. However, Mr. P was electrocuted and died on the spot.
Upon receiving the report, the Investigation Police Agency of Ham Thuan Bac District Police, Binh Thuan Province arrived at the scene to examine the scene and request an autopsy to clarify the incident.
After the police completed the autopsy, the victim's body was handed over to the family for funeral arrangements.
