The Bao Tuong Bodhisattva Assumption ceremony was held at the beginning of the new year 2026. The remaining tasks are continuing to be implemented by relevant units according to schedule.
The investment project to build the Bodhisattva Bodhisattva statue is implemented in Yen Tu ward, Quang Ninh province, on an area of about 2.56ha. Around the project implementation location is a special-use forest.
The total estimated investment is more than 125 billion VND, invested by the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Ninh province.

The project includes: The Temple of the Bodhisattva Quan The Am statue with an area of about 3,256.6m2; The ceremony hall (6 houses) with an area of about 237.6m2; Technical infrastructure and auxiliary items, such as yards, roads, green trees, water supply and drainage, electricity supply...
Scale of number of people: monks, nuns, and monks living and staying at the pagoda with a number of about 15 people and about 550 pilgrims/day.
Notably, the Bodhisattva statue of Quan The Am consists of the pedestal and the tower part of the structure, in which the height of the lower pedestal (cost +0.00) is about 14.85m; the height of the pedestal and body of the statue is about 34.07m.
The project uses reinforced concrete base material combined with natural stone, creating solidity and stability.
The body of the statue uses 304 Inox steel frame material, the outside is covered with 5mm thick copper, suitable for the aesthetic requirements of the project's regional climate conditions.

The goal of the project is to form a spiritual complex of Bodhisattva Quan The Am statues connected to pagodas (Hoa Yen, Dong Pagoda, Bao Sai, Van Tieu, Giai Oan...), the Buddha Emperor statue and Truc Lam Cultural Center, connected to the natural landscape to serve tourism development, serve domestic and foreign tourists to visit, study and learn about Truc Lam Zen sect and historical cultural features in Yen Tu, meeting the cultural and religious needs in the new era.
