At exactly 7:30 a.m. on May 11, Hai Phong City organized a team approval program and a mass parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the City Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025).
From 4am, Ms. Nguyen Thi Diu (Kien Duong, Le Chan, Hai Phong) woke up to prepare to go see the parade. "I arrived at the Central Square around 5am but I saw a lot of people there, the mood was even more excited waiting for the big festival of the city" - Ms. Diu said.
Mr. Binh and his wife (Ngo Quyen district) had prepared their outfits to go to see the parade many days ago. At exactly 5am this morning, the couple walked more than 3km to the event venue, finding a good location to watch the parade.
The Youth Union and Mass parade program was organized to commend the strength and maturity of the forces in the cause of innovation and development; honor the historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of Hai Phong city; demonstrate the proud journey - 70 years of Hai Phong liberation, gradually transforming and rising strongly and aspiring to continue to shine, be dynamic, creative and constantly break through of the Heroic Port city.
42 blocks of the parade, including 4 suspects including the procession of the Party flag, the national flag, the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, the Hong Ky block.
The blocks parade along Tran Hung Dao - Quang Trung City Theater Square - in front of the Monument of General Le Chan - Nguyen Duc Canh - Tran Phu.
It is known that in order to prepare for the large-scale team approval and parade program, armed forces units, departments, branches and localities have participated in enthusiastic training since the beginning of April. Along with that, there were 3 rehearsals on May 5, 7, and 9, rehearsed on the morning of May 10 at the City Theater Square and the central streets. The training sessions all received encouragement and support from the people of Hai Phong City.
