On the evening of November 11, authorities in Lam Dong are investigating the cause of the accident that just occurred in the area.
Initial information, the accident occurred at around 5:55 p.m. the same day, on Tran Phu Street (National Highway 20) passing Bao Loc Lake (Bao Loc City).
At the above time, a truck with a license plate from Lam Dong province, driven by driver Kh (58 years old), residing in Duc Trong district, was traveling on National Highway 20 in the direction from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City.
When arriving at Bao Loc lake, right at the intersection between Tran Phu street and Tran Quoc Toan street, in ward 1 (Bao Loc city), the truck collided with a motorbike.
The motorbike driver was Mr. X (59 years old), residing in Loc Chau commune, Bao Loc city. At that time, Mr. X was traveling in the same direction in front of the truck.
The collision caused the motorbike to be dragged under the truck and deformed. Mr. X fell onto the road and was run over by the truck, crushing both legs.
After the accident, people urgently called an ambulance and took the victim to Lam Dong II Hospital for emergency treatment.
According to some witnesses, at the time of the accident, Mr. X was using his left turn signal to cross the street to turn onto Tran Quoc Toan street.
After the accident, Madaguoi Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police) coordinated with Bao Loc City Police to regulate traffic; at the same time, examined the scene to serve the investigation and clarify the cause of the accident.
