On the morning of December 9, the functional forces of Hiep Binh Ward (HCMC) coordinated with the professional units of HCMC Police to block off and examine the scene to investigate the cause of a man cycling to exercise and dying on Binh Loi Bridge.

The incident occurred at around 5 a.m. the same day. Many people traveling on Pham Van Dong Street, just up Binh Loi Bridge (Hiep Binh Ward, towards Tan Son Nhat Airport), suddenly discovered a man cycling, waving his bicycle and falling onto the road.
People on the street quickly helped the victim get up and called for help, but the man passed out and died shortly thereafter.
The authorities identified the deceased as Mr. T.V.H. (68 years old, living in Di An ward, Ho Chi Minh City). The traffic police of the Rach Chiec Team also quickly arrived to regulate traffic in the area to avoid congestion.


The exact cause of death is being further investigated and clarified by Ho Chi Minh City Police.
