On the evening of December 4, the Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security, informed about a serious accident on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway, through Chau Que Thuong commune, Van Yen district, Yen Bai province.
Accordingly, at around 1:30 p.m. the same day, at Km189+100 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway, a traffic accident occurred between two trucks traveling in opposite directions.
Car number plate number 29h -790.xx followed Lao Cai - Noi Bai by Mr. Hoang Huy G, 30 years old, residing in Soc Son district, Hanoi;
The truck going in the opposite direction (Noi Bai - Lao Cai) with license plate 21H-008.xx was driven by Mr. Dang Van C, 34 years old, from Van Yen district, Yen Bai province. The passenger was Ms. Chu Thi A, 40 years old.
The accident resulted in Mr. G and N dying on the spot, in the cockpit. The two injured people were Mr. C and Ms. A. In addition, two cars were damaged, with estimated material damage of about 200 million VND.
According to the authorities, the initial cause of the accident was that Mr. Hoang Huy G was driving the car in the wrong lane.
Immediately after the accident occurred, the Traffic Police force of the Traffic Police Department coordinated with the Investigation Police Agency of Van Yen District Police, Yen Bai Province to investigate and resolve the case according to regulations.
