On the afternoon of January 6, informing reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, the leaders of Huu Lung town, Huu Lung district, Lang Son province confirmed that a fire had just occurred in the area, burning down a factory of nearly 700 square meters.
Accordingly, the incident was discovered at around 12 noon the same day at Phu Khanh Company Limited in Nhi Ha village, Huu Lung town.
Immediately afterwards, the police force, security forces at the facility, militia and hundreds of people and workers gathered to put out the fire, cordon off the area and evacuate property.
After nearly 2 hours of firefighting efforts, the fire was brought under control.
The fire caused no human casualties, but burned down almost all of the company's assets, machinery, and factory, estimated at about 1 billion VND. The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit.
It is known that this enterprise specializes in producing plywood and pine sawdust and has been operating locally for more than 2 years.
