On March 12, a fire on a fishing boat anchored on the river in Ward 5, Vung Tau City was quickly controlled and extinguished.

According to initial information, at around 9:00 a.m. on March 12, fishing boat BV-94422.TS anchored suddenly caught fire. Smoke and fire rose from the cockpit and behind the fishing boat, discovered by local residents, and reported to the authorities.

Upon receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police of the Provincial Police deployed forces and vehicles to the scene quickly.

After about 30 minutes, the fire on the fishing boat was controlled and completely extinguished, preventing the fire from spreading to other vehicles.

Currently, the authorities are verifying the cause of the fire and calculating the damage to resolve it according to regulations.
