Tuyen Quang - Heavy rain and tornadoes caused 16 houses in Tuyen Quang to have their roofs blown off and suffered heavy damage.

According to the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Tuyen Quang province, heavy rain and tornadoes caused the roofs of 4 houses in Kien Thiet commune and 12 houses in Trung Truc commune (Yen Son district) to be blown off and damaged.

Natural disasters also caused a branch of a primary school in Kien Thiet commune, Yen Son district to have its roof blown off.

The authorities have sent professional staff to the area to grasp the situation and count the damage. At the same time, mobilize local forces to support affected families, quickly stabilize housing, and ensure their lives.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the evening and night of March 15 to early morning of March 16, there will be scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms in the Northwest and Northeast regions. From March 16, the weather is likely to turn cold.
