Hanoi - A group of "speed demons" drove at high speed and crashed into a person waiting at a red light.

Initial information, on the night of November 2, a serious accident occurred at the intersection of Tran Hung Dao - Ba Trieu (Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi) causing 1 person to die on the spot.

At that time, according to the security camera footage, a group of people were riding motorbikes at high speed, honking loudly. When they reached the Tran Hung Dao - Ba Trieu intersection, a car in the group crashed into a woman who was waiting at a red light. As a result, the woman fell onto the road and died on the spot.

It is worth mentioning that after causing the accident, the "speed demons" did not stop to take the victim to the emergency room but continued driving away.

On the evening of November 3, informing the press, the leader of Hoan Kiem District Police said that immediately after receiving the report, the unit quickly started to verify and investigate. Using professional measures, Hoan Kiem District Police initially summoned a number of subjects related to the above incident.

The case is currently under further investigation, other related subjects are being arrested, violations are being verified for strict handling according to the provisions of law.

Previously, a clip recording the incident was posted on Facebook. Under the post, many comments expressed their dissatisfaction with the behavior of the group and asked the authorities to investigate and thoroughly handle this situation.

"I see this situation every weekend, knowing that sooner or later it will affect people but not knowing what to do. I hope the authorities will catch it soon," commented Vu Anh Tuan.

Meanwhile, Ha Thanh's account said that it is necessary to increase patrols and strictly handle subjects who often gather, drive at high speed, and disrupt security and order.

"I remember there was a time when Hanoi took drastic measures, and some people were prosecuted. I hope there will soon be a solution to limit this situation so that people can feel safe when going out," said Thanh Ha (Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi).
