The program of the Ceremony with main contents, such as: Announcing Resolution No. 1199/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated September 28, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Quang Ninh province for the period 2023 - 2025; announcing the Decisions: Establishing Hai Hoa Commune Party Committee; appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Hai Hoa Commune Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025; announcing the Decision to establish Hai Hoa Commune People's Council on the basis of merging incumbent People's Council delegates of Cam Hai Commune People's Council and Cong Hoa Commune People's Council...
Ha Long City is also preparing procedures and work to organize the Ceremony to announce the establishment of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Tran Hung Dao ward (merged with Yet Kieu ward), scheduled to take place on the morning of November 1, 2024.
The remaining localities, such as Mong Cai City, Dong Trieu Town and Ba Che District, currently have no plans to organize the above ceremonies on the day the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee takes effect - November 1, 2024.
In particular, Dong Trieu is expected to hold it on January 1, 2025, because not only is the amount of preparation work very large, but this is also an important event because in addition to Dong Trieu town becoming the 5th city of Quang Ninh, there are also a number of commune-level administrative units merging together, some are upgraded to wards.
According to Resolution No. 1199/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated September 28, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Quang Ninh province in the period of 2023 - 2025, in Dong Trieu, Tan Viet commune will be merged into Viet Dan commune to become Viet Dan commune; Dong Trieu ward will be merged into Duc Chinh ward to become Duc Chinh ward.
Establish Binh Duong ward on the basis of the entire natural area and population of Binh Duong commune. Establish Thuy An ward on the basis of the entire natural area and population of Thuy An commune. Establish Binh Khe ward on the basis of the entire natural area and population of Binh Khe commune. Establish Yen Duc ward on the basis of the entire natural area and population of Yen Duc commune.
Also in Dong Trieu, the Dong Trieu City People's Court will be established on the basis of inheriting the Dong Trieu Town People's Court, Quang Ninh Province; the Dong Trieu City People's Procuracy will be established on the basis of inheriting the Dong Trieu Town People's Procuracy, Quang Ninh Province.
In Ba Che district, Luong Minh commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Minh Cam commune with the entire natural area and population of Luong Mong commune. After establishment, Luong Minh commune has a natural area of 98.28 km2 and a population of 2,310 people.
In Cam Pha city, Hai Hoa commune is established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of Cam Hai commune with the entire natural area and population size of Cong Hoa commune.
In Mong Cai city, merge the entire natural area and population size of Hoa Lac ward into Tran Phu ward to form Tran Phu ward.
In Ha Long City, merge the entire natural area and population size of Yet Kieu ward into Tran Hung Dao ward to form Tran Hung Dao ward.
The above Resolution takes effect from November 1, 2024. From the effective date of this Resolution, Quang Ninh province has 13 district-level administrative units, including 7 districts, 1 town and 5 cities; 171 commune-level administrative units, including 91 communes, 73 wards and 7 towns.
