Mr. Tran Quoc Nam added that the locality is still waiting for the official Resolution of the National Assembly on investing in the nuclear power project. After that, the Government will have a roadmap for the work in the process of implementing the nuclear power project. Based on the Government's roadmap for building nuclear power, Ninh Thuan province will develop specific plans and work afterwards.
Regarding the concerns of people in Phuoc Dinh commune (Thuan Nam district) and Vinh Hai commune (Ninh Hai district) - where the Ninh Thuan 1 and 2 Nuclear Power Plants were planned to be built, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam said that people want to stabilize their production and living conditions.
“Stability here does not mean that people are stable at the old nuclear power plant planning location, but rather that if people are able to return to the resettlement site, the new relocation site for the state to build the plant, that must be the best,” Mr. Tran Quoc Nam shared.
