Initial information, the incident occurred at 10:00 p.m. on April 21. Accordingly, during the process of workers organizing the closure of the wastewater treatment plant No. 2, Golden phosphorus Production Complex 3 (Southeast Asia Lao Cai Joint Stock Company, Tang Loong Industrial Park), an explosion occurred at the slag tank that created hot water in the tank, causing 2 workers, Luong Xuan B (born in 1992) and Luong Van S (born in 1989), to be burned.
Immediately after the incident, the technical and medical department arrived to organize first aid and took the victims to Lao Cai General Hospital for emergency care.
Currently, the authorities are blocking the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
