On November 29, Ho Chi Minh City police are investigating the cause of a large explosion that occurred in Nhuan Duc commune (Ho Chi Minh City), causing a man to die and damage a house in the area.
According to initial information, at around 11am the same day, people living on Nguyen Thi Bua Street, Nhuan Duc Commune, suddenly heard a loud explosion.
Many witnesses said the explosion was so loud that it shook the furniture of neighboring houses, even though they were tens of meters away from the scene (according to security camera footage). When checking, many people were shocked to discover a house in the area that had been severely damaged.
At nearly 5:00 p.m. the same day, Nhuan Duc Commune Police and professional units of Ho Chi Minh City Police were still strictly blocking off the scene to examine and collect evidence. The area around the house was involved in an incident and part of Nguyen Thi Bua Street was blocked off, serving the investigation.
Talking to Lao Dong newspaper reporters, the leader of Nhuan Duc Commune People's Committee confirmed this heartbreaking incident and the police are investigating the cause. The explosion killed one man. The specific identity of the victim has not been announced.
