At around 5:00 p.m. on March 16, a serious traffic accident occurred at Thu Duc intersection, Thu Duc City, injuring many people.
According to initial information, the female driver was driving a Mercedes car on Song Hanh Street towards Dong Nai Bridge. When arriving at Thu Duc intersection, the car suddenly crashed into a series of motorbikes waiting at a red light. After that, the car continued to swerve through the intersection, hit and dragged a motorbike under the ground.
The accident caused severe damage to many motorbikes, lying around on the road. According to witnesses, many injured people were taken to the emergency room, including a seriously injured girl.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Rach Chiec Traffic Police Team under the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, in coordination with Thu Duc City Police and Hiep Phu Ward Police, quickly arrived at the scene to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
By the evening of the same day, the authorities were still blocking off the scene, examining and investigating the cause of the accident.
