Recorded in Kim Ngoc quarter - on the side of Song Cai basin, many households use water hoses to spray mud on furniture and the floor.
A woman just entered the door of her house and said that on the evening of December 4, the floodwaters rose high, inundating more than half of her house, and she could no longer see the door.

Learning from the experience of the flood at the end of October, from noon on December 4, people were mentally prepared after the evacuation announcement.
Many families promptly raise washing machines and refrigerators to limit damage before leaving home to avoid floods.

In the area of Chi Lu Su bridge - Song Can basin in Ham Thang ward - this is an area that was deeply flooded on the evening of December 4. People living along this bridge are also busy cleaning up.
Many people took the opportunity to spray mud before checking for damaged household appliances.


The motorbike repair shops are also crowded with people bringing their vehicles to repair. Of which, most of the vehicles stalled due to flooding.
Information from the authorities said that on December 5, the weather was not raining. The Song Quao irrigation reservoir has reduced its discharge flow to 45m3/s since the night of December 4, so the flood water has gradually receded.


Local leaders said that compared to the flood in early November, this time people have cooperated well with the government in relocation work, so there were no human casualties.
Many trucks carrying necessities have arrived in Ham Thang ward to support households that suffered heavy damage.


Currently, local forces, along with the Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command, are also present at flooded areas to help people clean up their houses and stabilize their lives soon.

After two floods only a month apart, many families in Ham Thang, Ham Liem, Ham Thuan, Hong Son... are struggling to stabilize their lives.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh requested that after the flood receded, localities must quickly clean up the environment, ensuring conditions for students to return to school.
At the same time, review and report specific damage situations, and recommend the province to join hands to overcome the consequences.
