On the morning of November 2, according to the Quang Tri Provincial Civil Defense Command, in the past 6 hours (23:50 on November 1 - 5:50 on November 2), there was moderate to heavy rain, with a total of 10-30mm, Truong Son reached 79.2mm. It is forecasted that from 6-18am on November 2, there will continue to be 20-50mm of rain, some places over 80mm.
At 5:50 a.m., the water level of Kien Giang River at Le Thuy was at 2.43 m (0.23 m above alert level 2), other rivers were below alert level 1; the general trend was to slow down. The whole province recorded more than 106 flooded spots, 3,695 households/11,582 people were still flooded; 103 schools had to temporarily close with 28,513 students; 33 landslides. Flooding is concentrated in low-lying areas in Quang Trach, Le Thuy, and Nam Hai Lang.

Population safety assurance work is maintained: 505 households 1,512 people have been relocated in the areas of Bac Trach, Dong Trach, Dakrong, Tuyen Phu, Quang Trach, My Thuy, Dien Sanh, Trung Thuan, Bo Trach, Dong Le. Regarding grid power, by 5:00 p.m. on November 1, there were still 840 households without power in part of Quang Trach commune and a small part of Trung Thuan commune, the management unit is fixing it.
The system of lakes and dams is closely monitored; the total irrigation reservoir capacity is about 86.73% compared to the design and ensuring safe operation.
Damage as of 7:00 a.m. on November 2: 6 dead (Ai Tu 1, Chia 1, Trung Thuan 1, Quang Trach 1, Ba Don 1, Cam Hong 1), 1 missing person in Bo Trach, 4 injured people in Ninh Chau.
Agriculture damaged more than 162.05 hectares of crops; livestock damaged 30 goats, 1 buffalo and about 1,200 poultry. Irrigation infrastructure was damaged 2,055m of canals and ditches, about 9,000m of river banks; traffic recorded 32 damaged points, an additional 205m of concrete roads were eroded and eroded.
On-site forces continue to erect barriers, place warning signs in overflow basins and landslides; instruct people not to cross areas with fast-flowing water, proactively raise property, ensure electrical safety and be ready to relocate when required.
