By 11:30 a.m. on January 23, the scene of the multiple accidents on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway had been cleared to allow traffic to flow smoothly again.

Earlier on the morning of January 23, at Km17 of Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, South - North direction, through Tan Lap commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province, a series of accidents occurred between 3 trucks and 1 car.

The accident caused traffic congestion, with vehicles lining up in long lines. Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6, Department 6, Traffic Police Department was present at the scene to investigate the scene and resolve the accident. At 8:00 a.m. the same day, a rescue crane towed the accident vehicle away from the scene to reopen the road.

Also in the morning of the same day, at Km54 of Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway, through Xuan Hung commune, Xuan Loc district, Dong Nai province, a collision occurred between 5 cars, causing traffic congestion. Traffic police also urgently handled the scene.

Due to the impact of two accidents on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway, vehicles are moving slowly at the entrance to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway.

Recorded at 11am on January 23, at the entrance to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, Thu Duc City section, vehicles were still moving normally, there were also sections with heavy traffic moving slowly. The Long Phuoc Toll Station section was also not congested, heavy traffic but still moving normally.
