Launching the 7th Natural Resources and Environment Journalism Award

On September 26, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment signed Decision No. 3097/QD - BTNMT on organizing the 7th Natural Resources and Environment Journalism Award.

In 2024, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will continue to organize the 7th Natural Resources and Environment Journalism Award to honor and reward authors, press works, and press agencies with outstanding achievements in propagating and communicating the topic of natural resources and environment, contributing to improving the effectiveness of state management; the position and role of the natural resources and environment sector in the cause of national construction and development, ensuring national defense and security; achieving the goal of managing, using natural resources economically and effectively, protecting the environment, responding to climate change and sustainable development. At the same time, promoting and spreading press activities, propaganda, and communication on the topic of natural resources and environment.

The awards are considered in the following categories: Print, Electronic, Radio, and Television.

The content of press works focuses on communicating the process of building and organizing the implementation of mechanisms, policies and laws on natural resources and environment; mechanisms, policies and laws with superiority and outstanding characteristics achieving high social efficiency; and the content of key tasks of state management in the field of natural resources and environment.

Reflecting new issues, especially proposing effective solutions in managing and using natural resources effectively, protecting the environment, responding to climate change and implementing sustainable development goals.

Achievements, initiatives, research results on the application of science and technology, models, suggestions, innovations, effective solutions; administrative reform activities, digital transformation, foreign information, international integration, anti-corruption savings and other related activities in the field of natural resources and environment.

37 prizes will be awarded to 36 individuals and 1 group, including 4 A prizes, 12 B prizes, 20 C prizes and 1 group prize.

The press works considered for the award must be published in the mass media between June 16, 2022 and October 15, 2024. The deadline for receiving entries is October 31, 2024.
