On May 13, the authorities discovered in Linh Nam ward, Hoang Mai district 20 boxes of foam containing about 800kg of frozen food including young chicken eggs and chicken intestines.
At the time of inspection, Ms. D.K.A - the owner of the shipment - could not present invoices, documents or legal documents proving the origin of the above goods. The boxes do not have labels, do not clearly state the manufacturer, place of manufacture or storage conditions according to regulations.
According to Ms. D.K.A, the above goods have just been purchased and have not yet been sold on the market. After working with the authorities, she admitted to the violation and committed to voluntarily destroying all the goods after a decision was made to punish them in accordance with the provisions of law.

The representative of Market Management Team No. 17 said that trading in food of unknown origin not only violates the law but also poses a potential risk to the health of consumers. Foods such as young chicken eggs and chicken intestines, if not properly controlled and preserved, can contain disease-causing bacteria and chemical residues, seriously affecting public health.
This is also an act that is strictly handled in the Food Safety Action Month 2025, to strengthen market control and protect consumer rights.
Currently, all shipments have been recorded, sealed and temporarily detained in cold storage to serve the investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
