On the afternoon of November 11, information from the People's Committee of Tan Thanh commune, Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province said that at around 10:00 a.m. the same day, a group of workers were constructing a road in the area when they were shocked to discover a large bomb.
The location where the bomb was discovered was on the inter-commune road (near Ben Nha bridge, Thanh Lam village, Tan Thanh commune, Thuong Xuan district).
According to a representative of the People's Committee of Tan Thanh commune, it is not yet determined what type of bomb this is, however, to the naked eye, the bomb is more than 1 meter long.
Immediately after receiving the information, the local authorities reported the incident to the District People's Committee and the Military Command of Thuong Xuan District. At the same time, they stretched ropes and cordoned off the area where the bomb was discovered.
