On March 21, the MAG Bomb and mine consultancy group in Vietnam said that they had just successfully handled a bomb weighing about 230kg in Quang Binh province.
On the same morning, a resident discovered a large bomb located close to the coast, only about 250m from a residential area in Thanh Xuan village (Thanh Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province).
Immediately after receiving information from the Quang Binh Provincial Military Command, MAG's bomb and mine handling team immediately arrived at the scene to deploy emergency measures, ensuring absolute safety for surrounding residents.
After conducting an inspection and assessment of the status, experts determined that this was a bomb with the registration number MK82, weighing about 230kg.
MAG's technical team applied professional measures to deactivate and transport the bomb to the centralized destruction area, ensuring absolute safety for the people.
