Hanoi Thuong Dinh Ward Police are coordinating with relevant forces to investigate and clarify the cause of death of a man in the To Lich River.

According to the representative of Thanh Xuan District People's Committee, at around 9:00 a.m. on May 16, the authorities received a report from the people about the discovery of a body floating on the To Lich River, passing through Giap Nhat Street, opposite Lang Station, in Thuong Dinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District.

Immediately after receiving the information, Thuong Dinh Ward Police quickly arrived at the scene, coordinated with the authorities to organize the scene protection and conduct an autopsy.

Through initial examination, the victim was a male, about 5060 years old. The body was discovered floating about 4m from the embankment.

Some people living near the area said that recently, this section of To Lich River has no water flow, and the prison water has been stagnant. Therefore, it is likely that the victim died in the area where the body was found.

The cause of the incident is currently being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
