At around 12 noon the same day, Mr. Pham Van Manh (born in 1978, residing in Bac Thanh Mien commune) while passing through a pond in the Dong La Reserve warehouse (Lien Dong village) discovered a female body lying on the back under the pond. On the shore, there were some items including sandals, conical hats and a cluster of keys.
Immediately afterwards, Mr. Manh reported the incident to the local authorities. Through verification, the police force of Bac Thanh Mien commune identified the victim as Ms. V.T.T (born in 1946, residing in Thu Phap village, Hai Hung commune, Hai Phong city). According to relatives, Ms. T left home at noon on July 18.
The authorities conducted a crime scene investigation, preliminary examination of the body and did not detect any signs of abnormality. Initial assessment showed that Ms. T drowned. The victim's body has been handed over to the family for burial according to customs.
Currently, the case continues to be monitored and handled by the authorities according to regulations.
