HCMC - Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street is becoming brilliant and filled with spring colors as Tet decorations are on sale.

With only 1 month left until Lunar New Year 2025, Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street (District 5), considered the largest decorative street in Ho Chi Minh City, has become bustling and filled with spring colors as many people come here every day to shop and prepare for the upcoming Lunar New Year.

According to Lao Dong's records on December 29, along both sides of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street, lanterns, parallel sentences, peach blossoms, apricot blossoms, lucky money envelopes, and foam models such as watermelons and banh chung... were prominently displayed, attracting the attention of passersby.

Tet decoration items are quite diverse and abundant, with all sizes and colors. Prices are also diverse, from a few tens of thousands of VND to several million VND.

Mr. Hoang Long, a salesman at a store here, said that the number of customers coming to buy Tet decorations has increased significantly.

"It's the weekend and it's also close to New Year's Day, so there are quite a lot of customers coming to shop. At the store, lanterns are the most popular item, with prices ranging from 60,000 VND to 1.5 million VND depending on the type and size," said Mr. Long.

Chi Thu Thao (District 6) said she plans to spend about 3-4 million VND on decorations for Tet this year.

"Take advantage of the weekend to shop for decorations from New Year's Day to Lunar New Year," Ms. Thao shared.

Mr. Bui Van Huan (Tan Binh District) said he came here to buy decorations for his company in District 3.

"Every year, my company has a tradition of making a Tet corner, so today my colleagues and I came here to buy decorations," said Mr. Huan.
