Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Dien Bien becomes Secretary of Xa Dung Commune

Dien Bien - Mr. Pham Duc Minh - Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Xa Dung Commune Party Committee.

On November 12, in Xa Dung commune, Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Standing Committee's decision on personnel work.

According to Decision No. 255-QD/TU, dated November 10, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Pham Duc Minh - Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Xa Dung Commune, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the assignment, Mr. Ha Quang Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee suggested that in his new position, Mr. Pham Duc Minh continue to strive, constantly cultivate, practice, and improve his qualifications and abilities.

At the same time, urgently develop programs and work plans for collectives and individuals. In particular, together with the commune leaders, there are effective solutions to successfully implement programs and projects in the commune.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Duc Minh thanked the Provincial Party Committee and the provincial leaders for their attention and trust. The Secretary of the Xa Dung Commune Party Committee promised to continuously strive to improve political courage and professional qualifications with the collective, agencies and units.

From July 1, 2025, Xa Dung commune will be merged from Phi Nhu and Xa Dung communes. The commune has over 15,700 people, with an area of 215.50 km2.
