Deputy Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Quang Tri province was disciplined

QUANG TRI - Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (TNMT) of Quang Tri province was disciplined for violations while serving as Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Hoa district.

On October 2, the Inspection Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee confirmed that this unit had decided to discipline Mr. Dang Trong Van and Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang.

Previously, on September 30, the Inspection Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to review and discipline Mr. Dang Trong Van - Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Quang Tri Province, former Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Hoa District and Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang - Party member of the Dakrong District Land Registration Office Branch.

Accordingly, during his tenure as Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Hoa District from November 2017 to July 31, 2023, Mr. Dang Trong Van, as the head of the People's Committee of Huong Hoa District, had shortcomings and violations in leadership, management and operation, lack of inspection, allowing subordinates to violate Party regulations and State laws on land, causing serious consequences.

Regarding Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang, during his tenure as Party Cell Secretary and Director of the Land Registration Office of Huong Hoa district, he took advantage of his assigned duties and responsibilities to advise on the issuance of land use right certificates and land use purpose conversions contrary to land law, causing very serious consequences and risking loss of the State budget.

Therefore, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee decided to discipline Mr. Dang Trong Van with a reprimand and expel Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang from the Party.
