Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, Kien Giang Provincial Police have deployed the installation of AI cameras to monitor security and order in Phu Quoc City according to Project 06 of the Government.

41 cameras were installed at 7 points, which are traffic gateways and densely populated areas such as: Bai Vong Passenger Port, An Thoi Port, Phu Quoc International Airport, Sun Group, Corona Phu Quoc Casino, Phu Quoc Night Market area and Ho Chi Minh Square.

According to the plan of Kien Giang Provincial Police, this type of smart camera integrates modern application solutions, developed based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology platform. The camera has the ability to analyze and process image and video data quickly and accurately, helping to improve the effectiveness of security monitoring, contributing to effectively serving the Government's Project 06 and the digital transformation task in Kien Giang Provincial Police. The installation roadmap in Phu Quoc is scheduled to be completed by October 15.

Currently, the installation is going smoothly and is supported by the people. Ms. Phu Kim Thanh, a resident of Phu Quoc City, shared: "I see that installing this camera helps to manage security and order better, has many benefits, and people are also more secure."

The installation of a camera system to monitor security and order in the city is one of the breakthroughs in the application of science and technology to serve the work of monitoring and managing the area of ​​the City Police force. Thereby contributing to raising awareness when participating in traffic, preventing and fighting crimes of people, businesses and crime prevention activities.
