Strengthen inspection, examination and control of lobster breeding and trading facilities to promptly detect and strictly handle cases of smuggling, trading and illegal transportation of lobster seeds into the province; strengthen quarantine work for the transportation of lobster seeds.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee 389, the Department of Industry and Trade, Tuy Hoa Airport coordinated with relevant parties to organize market inspection and control, and traffic control to promptly detect and strictly handle cases of smuggling, transportation, and illegal trading of lobster seeds and lobster seeds of unknown origin into the province.
The provincial police proactively deployed forces, organized to grasp the situation, strictly managed subjects, routes, locations, key and complicated areas of illegal import, trading and transportation of lobster seeds for timely handling.
The Phu Yen Provincial Border Guard Command coordinates with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and other units to inspect and control border areas, promptly prevent and strictly handle cases of illegal trading and transportation of lobster seeds in the area.
The Standing Vice Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee also requested coastal localities to coordinate with departments, branches and sectors to inspect and handle violations in transporting, trading and raising lobster seeds according to regulations. Propaganda and mobilization of people not to participate in or assist in trading and smuggling of lobster seeds.
Strengthen propaganda to the people about the risk of dangerous pathogens in lobsters (milk disease, white spot disease, etc.) from foreign countries, poor quality lobster seeds so that people understand, thereby not participating in, not assisting in the illegal transportation and trading of lobster seeds.
