As of May 15, the whole province of Phu Yen has started construction of 1,898/2,225 houses for meritorious people, poor households, near-poor people and victims of Agent Orange, reaching 85.30% of the plan. Of which, 1,339 houses were newly built and 559 houses were renovated and repaired.
Currently, the whole province has completed 1,316 houses, of which 816 were newly built and 500 were repaired. The remaining 313 houses have not started construction. Notably, 4 localities including Tay Hoa district, Phu Hoa district, Tuy Hoa city and Dong Hoa town have completed the entire program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

In response to this result, Mr. Tran Huu The - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Yen province, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the province - acknowledged and praised the efforts, determination and proactive spirit of localities in implementing the program.
He emphasized that this is a very meaningful gift, demonstrating the effective coordination between all levels, sectors and localities, in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister: "Clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear results, clear products".
The Chairman of the Phu Yen Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also welcomed the active response from the business community, organizations, individuals and people in the province. The contribution is not only material but also shows a sense of responsibility and affection in taking care of housing for households in difficult circumstances.
Mr. Tran Huu The suggested that Party committees, authorities, and the Fatherland Front at all levels continue to carefully review to ensure housing support for the right beneficiaries, especially households in especially difficult circumstances. At the same time, he noted related factors in the context of implementing the policy of merging Phu Yen and Dak Lak provinces.
For households that are not eligible to receive benefits according to regulations, localities need to continue researching and proposing appropriate and flexible solutions to mobilize more resources and expand more effective forms of support.
