The fire broke out at around 8:45 a.m. on December 2, at a coffee shop on Road No. 3, Vinh Loc Residential Area, Binh Tan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the time when the restaurant is operating and has quite a lot of customers.

According to records at the scene, the fire suddenly broke out at the restaurant's mixing stall, then quickly spread to neighboring areas. Discovering the incident, dozens of customers and staff present at the restaurant ran outside to escape, avoiding the rising fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 9 (Ho Chi Minh City Police) immediately dispatched many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene.

The authorities quickly deployed their formation and extinguished the fire. After about 20 minutes, the fire was basically under control. Because smoke was still billowing inside, firefighters continued to spray water to reduce the temperature and completely extinguish the fire.

Although the fire did not cause any human casualties, many properties inside the restaurant were severely damaged, the ceiling and walls of the coffee shop were charred and deformed.
The cause of the fire is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
