Therefore, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province has directed urgent measures to respond to prevent and minimize damage caused by the landslide.

The Provincial People's Committee requested Bo Trach district to closely monitor weather developments, develop plans and organize the relocation and evacuation of households in affected areas to safe places.

Put up danger warning signs, arrange permanent forces to warn and guide people and vehicles to ensure safety; increase communication information so that people know about the risk of landslides and proactively prevent safety.

The Provincial Military Command was assigned to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Bo Trach district to send forces and vehicles to survey and handle the landslide in Phong Nha town, and complete the handling before October 15, ensuring absolute safety for people and surrounding property.
