In recent times, Quang Binh province has implemented the arrangement of commune-level administrative units to streamline the apparatus and improve operational efficiency.
During the reorganization process, a number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and part-time workers at the commune level were made redundant.
To support commune-level cadres, civil servants and public employees who retire early or resign, in addition to the Government's policies on early retirement and resignation, the People's Council of Quang Binh province has agreed to support these subjects.
For commune-level cadres, civil servants, and public employees in public service units, in addition to the regimes and policies implemented according to regulations, commune-level cadres, civil servants, and public employees who quit their jobs due to redundancy when rearranging commune-level administrative units will be supported with an additional 5 months of current salary/person.
Each year of work with social insurance payment will be supported with an additional 1.5 months of basic salary at the time of leaving work.
For part-time workers at the commune level, in addition to the prescribed regimes and policies, each year of work is supported with 2 months of current allowance. In case cadres, civil servants, part-time workers at the commune level and public employees in public service units hold other positions concurrently, the concurrent positions are not counted for support.
Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Director of Quang Binh Department of Home Affairs Tran The Vuong said that for redundant staff after administrative unit rearrangement, the province has a roadmap to ensure that by 2028, it will be completely resolved.
Direct attention from the province will help retirees or those who have quit their jobs feel more secure. At the same time, it will help state agencies easily arrange jobs after the reorganization. In addition, those who have quit their jobs will have a basic income, contributing to stability and meeting their living needs.
The Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Binh province added that if redundant cadres after the arrangement wish to retire early or quit their jobs, the province will have a support mechanism.
This is an important step to help stabilize the income of those who have left their jobs after the merger. This policy not only demonstrates the locality's concern for its staff but also contributes to creating consensus in society during the process of administrative reform.
