In the near future, Quang Ngai will add 3 key projects with a total investment of VND 25,279 billion, promising to strongly promote the economic development of the province.

In the near future, Quang Ngai will add 3 key projects, including: Quang Ngai - Kon Tum Expressway, Tra Khuc 1 Bridge and Thien But Park. It is expected that Tra Khuc 1 bridge will be started to celebrate the 21st Provincial Party Congress.

The Prime Minister has approved the adjustment and supplementation of the Road Network Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 in Decision No. 12/QD-TTg dated January 3, 2025, 136km long, with a scale of 4 lanes. The starting point intersects with the Northeast Expressway in the East in Duc Pho District, Quang Ngai Province; the end point intersects with the North-South Expressway in the West in Kon Tum City, Kon Tum Province. Investment process before 2030.

The route passes through Ba To district and Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province, Kon Plong district, Kon Ray and Kon Tum city, Kon Tum province). The expected investment scale for phase 1 is about 80.5km long (the section passing through Quang Ngai province is 58km long, the section passing through Kon Tum province is about 22.5km) with a total estimated investment of VND 22,500 billion.

For the Tra Khuc 1 bridge project, it is included in the list of medium-term public investment projects in the period of 2026 - 2030 of Quang Ngai province. In particular, this project is a priority for implementation, so resources will be balanced for investment in the first half of 2026. The Tra Khuc 1 bridge project is about 830m long; the bridge width is about 28m; investing in 2 intersections at the bridgehead, underpass and other auxiliary items. The total investment is VND 2,199 billion.

The bridge has an impressive design with 3 consecutive circles creating the image of a water car bank in the middle of Tra Khuc river, symbolic, associated with the history of formation and development of Quang Ngai. This is an architectural design option chosen by Quang Ngai province through a nationwide open competition.

Particularly for the Thien But Park projects in Quang Ngai City with a total investment of VND580 billion, which are projects that the leaders of Quang Ngai province requested to start construction in 2025 to implement the development goals set by the province.

The whole province currently has 8 key projects, including: Sub-project for compensation, support and resettlement of the component project of Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon section, section through Quang Ngai province; Hoang Sa - Doc Soi road; Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal road, phase IIa, component 1; Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal road, phase IIb; road connecting Thach Bich bridge to Tinh Phong; project to prevent landslides combined with creating a land fund for the North bank of Tra Khuc river, section through Tinh An and Tinh Long communes; project to prevent landslides combined with creating a land fund for the North bank of Tra Khuc river, section through Tinh Long, Tinh Khe, Quang Ngai city; project to raise the embankment of Tra Khuc river.
