Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO) has coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) to donate 1 billion VND to help people in Nghe An and Ha Tinh overcome the consequences of storms and floods. This activity is part of SABECO's plan to join hands to support the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, while spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing through the campaign to celebrate 150 years of heritage.
The award ceremony was held in Nghe An on October 31, and in Ha Tinh on November 1, with a total support value of 1 billion VND, equivalent to 500 million VND for each province. This is a support amount taken from 3 billion VND announced by SABECO on October 16, and was presented with a symbolic board at the office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on October 24. This support will be transferred directly by SABECO to the support receiving account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces according to the agreement of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to support the repair of essential infrastructure, rebuild houses and help local people stabilize their lives after the storm.
Representatives of the leaders of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces acknowledged and appreciated SABECO's contributions not only in production and business activities, contributing to the budget and creating jobs for workers, but also in a deep sense of community responsibility. Mr. Hoang Phu Hien - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province expressed their gratitude for SABECO's timely and practical support for people in flood-affected areas, and at the same time hoped that businesses would continue to accompany localities in social security work across the country.
In addition to financial support for the local community, SABECO's leadership also visited factories and partner units in Nghe An and Ha Tinh, and met and encouraged the team of staff and workers affected by storms and floods, thereby affirming the company's commitment to accompanying and improving the quality of life of Vietnamese people.
Mr. Lester Tan, General Director of SABECO, shared: This support is of special significance to SABECO, because Nghe An and Ha Tinh are not only two of the localities that suffered the most damage after the recent storm and flood, but are also a place associated with many of our staff, employees, partners and long-time members. The factories and companies in these two provinces have made an important contribution to SABECO's development in the Central region, and we are deeply aware of our responsibility in sharing and accompanying local people to overcome the difficult period.
Through this contribution, we hope to bring timely and practical support to people affected by storms and floods, while demonstrating SABECO's spirit of solidarity and social responsibility in standing side by side with its staff and the community where the enterprise operates. SABECO will continue to accompany Vietnam on the development journey, not only by building sustainable businesses, but also by making positive contributions to improving people's lives and bringing prosperity to the people."

In addition to the support donation activities, the "Hanh Trinh Diem" series with the image of red double-decker buses in the "150 Year of Heritage Rising" campaign continues to spread the spirit of connection and sharing in Nghe An. Notable is the "Buc Tuong Gap Ket" activity, where people sent words of encouragement to the forces and people in flood-affected areas, and shared images and messages with the hashtag "Together with Vietnam Kien Cuong" to spread the spirit of solidarity across the country.
Hanh Trinh Diem is a series of community-led activities organized by SABECO to honor the 150-year development journey and affirm the commitment to accompanying the progress of Vietnam. The journey has gone through 8 out of 9 locations including Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Vung Tau, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh and Nghe An, before ending in Hanoi.

Nghe An and Ha Tinh are two important localities in SABECO's production and business activities in the Central region, with the presence of the two factories of Saigon - Ha Tinh and Saigon Song Lam Beer - the leading contributors to the local budget.
Through Hanh Trinh Diem, SABECO hopes to spread the spirit of sharing, resilience and pride in Vietnamese heritage.
