SABECO continues to affirm its sustainable position when being honored in the Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises 2025 and in the Top 10 manufacturing sectors in Vietnam this year.

Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO) continues to affirm its position as a leading sustainable enterprise in Vietnam when it was honored in the Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises (CSI 100) in 2025 and especially in the Top 10 sustainable enterprises in the manufacturing sector.

This achievement is a clear demonstration of the long-term sustainable development strategy, combining 150-year heritage conservation with a pioneering orientation in green transformation, aiming to contribute value to the economy and the community.

Initiated in 2016 by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam Assessment and Announcement Program (CSI Program) has now entered its 10th year, affirming its position as the most prestigious and standard measure of sustainable development in the Vietnamese business community. This is not just a title but a set of indicators that strictly assess sustainable corporate governance capacity in three aspects: Economy - Society - Environment.

SABECO's consecutive presence in the rankings for 2023, 2024 and especially breaking into the Top 10 in 2025 shows that the enterprise maintains stable business efficiency, while also meeting international standards on governance, environment and policies for employees.

In the manufacturing sector, SABECO clearly demonstrates its "Green Manufacturing" strategy by considering green transformation as a competitive advantage rather than a cost. The company has increased the share of renewable energy use to 40.54% thanks to rooftop solar power and PV boilers; reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 9.3%; maintained a circular packaging model with 100% of primary packaging that can be recycled or reused and the glass bottle recovery rate reached 7580%.

However, the 7.3% reduction in water use intensity shows that SABECO proactively optimizes resources, contributing to environmental protection in the context of increasingly serious climate change.

In addition to sustainable production, SABECO focuses on creating common value for the community through many social security and development programs. The "Lighting up rural roads" project has installed more than 109 km of solar lights, contributing to improving traffic safety and the appearance of rural areas. The project "Enhancing Sports Steps" encourages a healthy lifestyle and creates a playground for the community. Activities to support disadvantaged households during Tet and disaster relief have been implemented promptly, bringing practical sharing. The company also spreads the culture of "Responsible Drinking" through communication campaigns to change consumer awareness.

Sharing about the award, Mr. Alan Koo - Deputy General Director of SABECO said: Being honored in the Top 10 Sustainable Enterprises in the manufacturing sector is a great source of pride and motivation for the SABECO team, especially in the year of the 150th anniversary of heritage. For us, ESG is not just a destination but a journey of constant effort. SABECO is committed to continuing to play the role of a 'loading enterprise' in the manufacturing sector, leading the supply chain and green transformation to contribute to the common sustainable development goals of Vietnam".

Being honored in the top 10 CSI 2025 is an important milestone for many businesses in general and SABECO in particular, thereby helping them strengthen the confidence of investors, partners and consumers. In addition to this memorable achievement, SABECO's commitment to sustainable development continues to be recognized through a series of other titles and roles such as 'Outstanding Enterprise for Workers', top 50 'Best Workplaces in Vietnam 2025', and actively participates in major professional forums on sustainable development.

SABECO is building a solid foundation for a new development stage, where business growth goes hand in hand with environmental protection and social responsibility, worthy of being the pride of a Vietnamese brand with a long heritage.
