Tomorrow morning (September 27), the general parade and state-level parade will officially take place in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, in preparation for the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The rehearsal gathered 56 groups of parades and parades, including: 23 military groups, 3 militia and self-defense groups, 12 police groups, 12 popular groups and 3 military groups from China, Laos and Cambodia.
In parallel with the underground parade, the helicopter and fighter squads of the Air Defense - Air Force (Ministry of National Defense) departed from Bien Hoa airport (Dong Nai), heading towards the center of Ho Chi Minh City.
Helicopters and fighters will fly in formation, pulling the Party and Fatherland flags up to the sky of Ho Chi Minh City.
People will have the opportunity to admire the acrobatics, flight techniques, along with the beautiful heat trapping from fighter jets.
In particular, in Ben Bach Dang area, there will be a series of 21 cannons fired on the national anthem of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Routes ban vehicles from 3am for general inspection
To ensure traffic security and safety, the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that it will ban vehicles from circulating and stop parking on many routes in the central area from 3am to 12pm on April 27.
The prohibited routes include:
- Ba Son Bridge (from Thu Duc City to District 1, from the D6 + R12 intersection).
- Nguyen Binh Khiem (from Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street to Nguyen Huu Canh).
- Dinh Tien Hoang (from Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street to Le Duan).
- Ton Duc Thang (from Le Duan Street to before 37 Ton Duc Thang).
- Mac Dinh Chi (from Tran Cao Van Street to Nguyen Du).
- Hai Ba Trung (from Vo Van Tan Street to Ly Tu Trong).
- Pham Ngoc Thach (from Con Rua Lake Roundabout to Notre Dame Cathedral).
- Pasteur (from Vo Van Tan Street to Ly Tu Trong). Nam Ky Khoi Nghia (from Vo Van Tan Street to Ly Tu Trong).
- Truong Dinh (from Vo Van Tan Street to Ly Tu Trong).
- Nguyen Du (from Ton Duc Thang Street to Cach Mang Thang Tam).
- Nguyen Thi Minh Khai (from Nguyen Binh Khiem Street to Cach Mang Thang Tam).
The limited traffic area also includes the following routes: Le Duan, Nguyen Van Chiem, Le Quy Don, Huyen Tran Cong Chua, Le Van Huu, Han Thuyen, Alexandre De Rhodes, Paris Commune, Dang Tran Con, Thu Khoa Huan, Nguyen Trung Truc, Dong Khoi...
